NEWSUN
is the first successful developer and manufacturer of Heat Meter
Calibration Equipment in China, under collaboration with China
National Institute of Metrology.
The Calibration
Equipment is applied to calibration of heat meters of various types
(ordinary, card, or communication type) by metering test laboratories,
meter manufacturers and heat utilities. Calibration process is
computerized for accurate recording, storing and printing of data of
each tested meter to facilitate quality control and tracking. The
Equipment is also featured with easy operation, proper structure,
convenient maintenance and safety.
Structure and Principle:
SRJ-N Heat Meter
Calibration Equipment consists of piping, standard flow meter,
temperature sensor, pressure sensor, thermostat, water heating tank,
variable-frequency pump and computer control unit.
Principle: water in the
tank is heated to preset temperature, fed into test pipes by
variable-frequency pump, flows through standard flow meter and the
heat meter being calibrated, and returns back to the tank. Standard
thermometer and temperature sensors of heat meter are dipped into two
thermostats respectively and calibration starts when the Calibration
Equipment runs stable. Computer collects data of flow, temperature,
pressure and time used, and calculates standard heat volume within
test period. The calculated heat volume is compared with measured
volume of heat meter for meter calibration.

Multi Functions
The Calibration Equipment can test complete heat meters, meter
segments and heat meters of various types (ordinary, card, or
communication type). It can also be used as calibration equipment of
hot water meters of corresponding sizes, for measurement of flow
rates, pressure loss, accuracy and other parameters.

Full-function software
The software automatically collects
flow rate, temperature and pressure signal, and calculates standard
heat volume based on enthalpy density table of water and related
formula. The accurate calculation and characteristic parameters of the
meter being calibrated are stored in database for easy inquiry, print
and statistics.

Calibration process starts automatically after operator fix the
heat meter and set data of calibration points. Computer displays
real-time various parameters for full time monitoring of calibration
process and data printing.

The Calibration Equipment can test one meter,
or a group of meters (max. 5) each time.

Only water source, power supply and
drainage are needed for calibration, no other special installation
requirements.

Reliability and safety
The whole water circulating system is completely separated from
electrical part and various alarms are designed.(For
example, upper limit alarm of piping temperature, upper limit alarm of
pressure, upper limit alarm and lower limit alarm of water level in
heating tank, over limit alarm of thermostat temperature and etc.)Sleeves
of meter’s temperature sensors provide protection to the sensors and
cable, so that reliability and stability of the Equipment is ensured.

EQUIPMENT OF HEAT METER
SRY-N Test-Run
Equipment of Heat Meter is applied to test-run of heat meters of
various types (ordinary, IC card, and communication type) by metering
test laboratories, meter manufacturers and heat utilities. During the
test, meter’s working conditions at user’ places are simulated in
order to provide reliable test data to manufacturers. A standard
(calibrated) meter and meters to be tested are placed in same piping
loop for comparison. The Equipment is featured with easy operation,
proper structure, convenient maintenance and safety.
Structure and Principle:
SRY-N Heat Meter
Test-run Equipment consists of piping, rotor flow meter, temperature
sensor, pressure sensor, thermostat, water heating tank, water pump,
meter fixture table and control console.
Principle: water in the
tank is heated to preset temperature, fed into water supply pipes by
pump, flows through diverting pipe, standard meter, heat meter being
tested, rotor flow meter and back to the
tank. Two temperature sensors of standard heat meter, supply
temperature sensor and drainage temperature sensor of the meter being
tested are dipped into two thermostats. Then start the test,
temperature /pressure signals are displayed and heat volumes of the
two heat meters recorded. Test stops when preset test time ends and
heat volumes of two meters are compared for difference. Thus heat
meter is rough-tested.
